The thing about economists...

The thing about economists is that over the years they have served only to have me yell at the radio news headlines, roll my eyes at the newspapers, sit and weep silently as they opine on any sort of broadcast media ... and now there is emerging a smorgasbord of good, insightful, incisive, stroppy, thoughtful, brain-feeding economist type people and I can't help but roar in delight. So fear not. Some of the buggers actually know what they're talking about. All you have to do is listen, and think, and question. Easy. Who said economics was too complicated for us?

Just have a look at our Economics: Disrupted page. It's like a sweetie shop for the mind for the Economically Disgruntled. You were right. Up to now most of them were talking out of their bottoms. Check our list out. This lot are definitely talking out of their minds.

I love joined stuff up, joining the dots, seeing the connections, understanding the big picture. That thing when you suddenly get it and you can feel your mind go up a gear. That.
