Three days of inspiration, sweat, epiphanies, unreliable tech v determined women (guess who won that particular fight ... ;) ) ...and a whole new tribe of social scientists, climate scientists, clinicians, managers, activitists, emergency-declarers, community members, farmers, strategists, collaborators and shit-kickers... you can see the whole schedule at the end of the page below. Stand by for the videos - we're loading them all up over the next few days (each one takes some time, so bear with us!) The fab visual notes from Keith Sparrow are there to download and use in any way you think fit - and you can contact him via his website here; you can find him on twitter @keithsparrow61 and instagram @sparrowmanga.
DAY ONE
Prof Tim Lenton on bad *and* good news on Climate *and* Social Tipping Points, Prof David Pencheon with incisive words on how we tick and if we're really wired to ignore climate breakdown, Declaration of Climate Emergency from two of the main Cornwall NHS Trusts; James Dixon, The Northern Angel of honesty, fear, action and system change in Newcastle; Oli Slaughter bringing Sussex Foundation Trust wisdom and eye-popping excavation on nitrile gloves; and Drs Tash Ashkaroff and Jack Williams from Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust on the smargasbord of what is available (already) to help us all get our asses into gear on climate and ecological breakdown inside the health care system. So much wisdom, expertise and generosity of hope, courage and action... an amazing first day.
