The others will follow. We need have no doubt. It's simply a matter of time.

TUESDAY 22 JANUARY 2019: CORNWALL COUNCIL DECLARES!

NEXT STEPS!

Below is a short letter that can be copied and used to contact your own councillor;
and a longer letter that has been sent to all Parish Councils

We are also contacting our local community network officers to ask to meet,
plus contacting any other officers we know to say the same.

We re also asking all businesses and groups to declare,
as Cornwall Council has courageously and necessarily done:

This is a collective threat, and needs a collective response - and a collaborative endeavour.

.

Below is a link to a google document being shared across Cornwall to add thoughts as to potential actions for local parish councils, started by a cllr from the Falmouth area.

SHARED DOCUMENT - IDEAS TO USE, ADD TO, AND MAKE YOUR OWN.

And below is a word document developed by community members, especially Katharine Lewis, in Cornwall for Helston Parish Council.  You can download and amend; it begins to set out what a Parish or Town Council can do. Use and amend as you need for your own council!
